Pastor Gary Hayden
Gary has over 40 years’ experience in all areas of ministry. He surrendered to youth ministry while he was a lay camp counselor in DE, and moved his family to Springfield, MO, going to Baptist Bible College. Since then he has spent over 20 years as a Student minister, starting and leading one of the largest youth ministries in the Mid-Atlantic area, starting summer & winter camps, conferences, and a frequent youth speaker. He has been an associate pastor, started various ministries to young believers, Senior saints, and a lead pastor in two other churches.
He and his wife Joyce came to Lighthouse, (formerly Midway Baptist Church)

13 years ago, after pastoring Moorestown Bible Church in N.J. Joyce and Gary were High School sweethearts and were married in 1964. They have two sons, Tom, his wife Donna, Granddaughter Rachael, husband Ronnie, and Grandson Nate a freshman at Liberty Univ. Donald, his wife Tina, Granddaughter Taylor, and Grandson Zachary.
Gary has a practical style ministry with an emphasis on family and encouraging a personal life walk with the LORD. He enjoys various activities and sports and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. His energy and insight are an encouragement to many as he & Joyce continue to serve the LORD together.
